"I'm endorsing Maya because I very much support ranked choice voting as a way to reduce political polarization, and appreciate her work on the Charter Review Commission to bring RCV to our County."
~John Dunne, MD (retired)
"I'm endorsing Maya because they represent political ideals that are essential to our current state of the world."
~Renna Fir, Mental Health Counselor
"Maya is a fierce advocate for all in this community and truly understands what working people in Whatcom county face. It's time for a representative that is proactive instead of reactive."
~Masha Toporowski, Affordable Housing Manager
"Maya is honest and forthright. What she says is what she means, and what you see is what you will get. She is the kind of elected representative our democracy is based on. A voice by and for the people she will represent. "
~Sandy Brewer, Actor, Tai Ji/Qigong Instructor
"Maya is a talented woman who has fully supported Whatcom county in pursuing the standard of a quality life for all residents. This means access to housing, health support and a healthy environment. She is strongly motivated to work on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves and for hard working families who are being squeezed by increasing costs. Please support Maya!"

These organizations do not endorse candidates. These are listed to provide context on the learning and political work Maya has engaged in to be prepared to serve the people in public office!
Moms Demand and Inseparable Action's Mental Health are sort of like girl scout badges, but for candidates! They demonstrate that Maya supports a particular kind of platform based on a questionnaire. They are not accompanied with any financial contribution, but serve to denote a distinction of confirmed values to help voters understand what Maya stands for.
